9/11 Victims Sick in Every State

Thousands of 9/11 victims who were exposed to the dust and smoking debris in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks are now suffering from 9/11 related conditions and cancers. According to new statistics, there are 9/11 victims suffering in every single state in the U.S.  This information highlights the fact that the re-authorization of the Zadroga Act which funds the World Trade Center Health Program and the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund is a national issue the needs national attention.

9/11 Victims are Receiving Awards

The 9/11 VCF has made 12,712 eligibility decisions regarding 9/11 victims, finding 11,770 of these individuals eligible for compensation. The VCF has made award determinations on over 5,500 of these claims. And the  9/11 victims being awarded are not just responders; 375 of those individuals worked in the area.  The total value of all of the compensation decisions is $1,310,149,991.03.
